Wilderness Survival
The purpose of your survival preparations is to not end up exposed to
wilderness environments. However, preparedness means being ready for any
eventuality. Wild fire or severe weather could destroy your home/retreat. Civil
warfare could drive you out, as could natural disasters like flooding.
One man's wilderness is another man's
backyard. What makes an area a wilderness to you is the unfamiliar
surroundings and separation from your normal resources. Intuits do not
consider the artic tundra areas as wilderness. Seeing an area as a wilderness is simply a state of mind
comparison of where you are and what you are familiar with.
